If I was a magical girl, I’d probably get addicted to transformation sequences.

New Dreams

Posted by lucidfox.org at

After quite a long delay in posting, with a multitude of various dreams (including one in which I was my WoW character), now that I’m back to work, I’m going to post dreams on a regular basis again.

In Friday’s dream, I visualized a scene from the yet-unposted chapter 6 of the fanfic “2008”.

Saturday’s dream was vaguely SF-themed. I made a bet with a well-known thief that I’ll be able to steal a certain set of documents from a government research facility (crossed with a university, and suspiciously resembling my old school, which often appears in my dreams) faster than him. To achieve this, I used a stealth generator first (I appeared translucent to myself whenever I used it), but it was unreliable and kept failing. Then I resorted to Geassing people to “ignore me”. Weirdly, whenever I used Geass, I placed my middle and index fingers above and below my left eye, like Sailor Moon’s V gesture. Eventually, an old professor told me the location of the documents out of his free will — they turned out to be completely unguarded, lying in a locker with a certain number.

Utterly Random Note

Hideaki Anno is a sick, mentally deformed person, who should have written the scripts for Evangelion and then presented them to a psychiatrist rather than the general public. But of course, the overanalyzing fans would then just latch on something else to overanalyze anyway.

“Bouken Desho Desho” – English Fandub

I’ll always keep the answer safe right here within my heart.

I don’t understand why is it that I run to you when I have a problem.
Could it be that I can’t help it because it’s been chosen by my destiny?
I believe
Acting like everyone else is boring.
You’ll be right!
If I just can stay true to myself, I know I can do anything!

Life is an adventure, don’t hesitate and take all of your
Fears and just throw them away.
Keep getting stronger, follow through with your dreams and not just
For anyone else’s sake.
Please take my hand, we’ll fly away.
I won’t let you fall, believe in me.
If we can survive through the day,
I’ll prove to you that there’s really no need for such things as miracles.
Keep reaching towards
A new future.
I believe you.

I found this on YouTube, don’t remember where exactly; this may be it, but I can’t check right now if it’s the same voice. I have a copy on my player, however. It’s an English fandub of the opening of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, originally in Japanese.

A good inspirational song, I think.
